Branch Manager Now Hiring – Branch Manager Reports to: Chief Deposit Officer Job responsibilities: Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and accountability. Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained at all times. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively and promptly. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling bank products. Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Manage branch cash flow and oversee the maintenance of branch security. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls. Represent the Bank in community events and networking opportunities. Build partnerships with local businesses and organizations to promote the Bank’s services. Communicate pertinent organizational and operational changes with branch staff. Fill in, as needed, on the Teller Line and with Account Opening. Work with staff to develop and maintain knowledge of processes and procedures by performing periodic skill assessments and providing remedial assistance if needed. Maintain and share periodic branch activity analysis with VP, Branch Operations. Prepare annual branch budget and periodically analyze adherence to the proposed budget. Review and approve billing invoices for the branch. Maintain physical security requirements, including but not limited to testing alarms and other security devices on a regular basis. Work with VP, Branch Operations, to set branch operational goals on an annual basis. Attend monthly manager meetings. Job Qualifications: Ability to multitask in a busy environment. Strong knowledge of banking products, services and regulations. Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to supervise employees with wide-ranging skills and abilities. Detail oriented, with solid organizational skills. Proficient with use of technology, including but not limited to banking software and Microsoft Office Suite. Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands: This role is largely sedentary, however at times, there may be a need to lift up to 25 pounds when handling assigned duties. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in retail banking, with 2 years in a management role a plus.
